The website finally goes live
When I thought about creating this podcast about 4 years ago, I naively thought that all I needed to do was interview people and as if by magic I had a podcast. In fact it’s far from being that straighforward. Finding the guests has been the easy bit but the practicalities of editing and creating a website have been very time consuming indeed.
Many thanks to Terry Connolly for his lessons on how to edit podcasts, to Jack Murley (BBC LGBT sports podcast - https://bbc.in/2JNtWfV) and Adam Berry (The Gym Starter) for their invaluable tips on the practicalities of running a podcast. Both of them run their own excellent podcasts so be sure to check them out.
The podcast will launch on September 1st. It will be available through your usual podcast providers but there will also be links on the episodes page of this website where you’ll also find a little bit more information about the guests. The first episode will in fact be a prelude episode in which I will tell my story and explain my motivation for setting up the podcast.
Every coming out story is worth telling so please get in touch if you’re willing to be interviewed. We can meet in person or record it online. For those of you that don’t want to be interviewed then please send in your coming out stories and I will place them on the “your stories” page. You can submit the story in your own name or it can be anonymous.
Finally, please get in touch, I’d love to hear what you think.
